Illustrators Ireland is a non-profit organisation that supports the development of Illustration in Ireland by showcasing the work of our members and fostering links with similar organisations at home and abroad. As a professional organisation we aim to raise the profile of Irish illustration as a dynamic and cutting edge art form, as well as promoting the work and skills of our individual members.

Members

Illustrators Ireland’s membership is a mix of established, high profile illustrators, and up-and-coming talent, producing work for fields as diverse as editorial, advertising, animation, storyboards, packaging, street art, graphic novels and childrens’ books, as well as their own personal projects.

The quality of members work has been recognised by awards both in Ireland and on the world stage, including from the AOI (UK), Communication Arts, 3x3 and Creative Quarterly, ICAD, CILIP, the Society of News Design and the Society of Illustrators (US).

Eoin Coveney

Eoin’s bold, figurative illustrations have seen him in constant demand for over 20 years. His ability to tell human stories has been enhanced by working with some of the top names in the Graphic Novel field- including Will Eisner (creator of “The Spirit”), Gordon Rennie (2000AD/ Warhammer) and John Wagner (Judge Dredd/ Batman.). Eoin regularly contributes to many international magazines such as FHM (U.K. and International editions), ZOO, Engineering / Technology & Attitude Magazines (U.K.). He has worked for many international publishers such as Harper- Collins, Dorling- Kindersley, Usbourne, Pearson and Oxford University Press.  He has also been a regular fixture in national and international press, including the Irish Independent, Irish Times, Metro London and The Independent (UK). Since 2013, he has been contributing to 2000AD, drawing Judge Dredd among others. He is also co­ creator of a new series and characters for 2000AD.
