On Friday, December 8th 2006, the Illustrators Guild of Ireland held their fifth IllustratorsIreland.com Annual Awards in the United Arts Club, Dublin. It was a fantastic evening with an excellent turnout.

As part of Children’s Book Festival, Dublin City Libraries is hosting a talk by author and illustrator Helen Cooper.
Helen, who has won the Kate Greenaway medal for The Baby who Wouldn’t Go to Bed and Pumpkin Soup, will give a talk to illustrators, teachers and librarians on Thursday 20th October at 6.30 p.m. in Pearse St. Library. Booking is essential. Please phone 01 674 4888.
