IGI Candy Sweettalk

CandyCollective & The Illustrators Guild of Ireland, proudly present a special Illustration focussed SweetTalk, celebrating the influence of the IGI and its continued support of Irish illustration since 2000.
This one-off event will be held on Thursday, April 30th, 2009, at the Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2. Doors @ 7pm.
Ros Shiers
With work produced for Sugar at Moschino, Marks and Spencer’s, NOKIA and Russian Glamour, she’s a leading light in the illustration scene. Ros’s website.
Jonathan McHugh
Jonathan has been working as a freelance artist and jobbing illustrator for the last 10 years. During that time he has illustrated extensively for advertising, design and editorial clients in the U.K., Germany, Japan and Ireland. His work has won several awards, including Gold at the 2004 Society of Artists Agents’ awards in London. Jonathan’s website.
Steve Simpson
Steve Simpson has been creating award winning illustration for major ad & design companies for the last 15 years. His characters have appeared on postage stamps to 48 sheets, snack packaging to gourmet pies and plenty more beside. In recent years he’s been illustrating children’s books both at home and in the States. Steve won gold in the AOI’s Images 32 for his Pure Pie branding and has recently had work accepted for both The Society of Illustrators and 3x3 Mag awards. Steve’s website.
