Xanadu Exhibition at the Loft

Chris Judge’s new exhibition runs for two days at the Loft Gallery Dublin, From October 10th.
For his second major exhibition Chris spent a week on Xanadu, a small planet which has since been engulfed by the now collapsed star Procyon B, sketching portraits of local inhabitants during the great exodus from the doomed planet. Upon his to return to Earth, Chris set about painting intimate portraits of Xanadu denizens from his sketchbooks on various media. The result is 34 striking portraits of Blue Beatniks, solemn Vampires, Devils, Androids and many other colourful characters…
A Nation’s Obsession Exhibition

This exhibition in association with the RIAI highlights the obsession with architectural form over the past decade in advertising, editorial and book illustration.
Featured artists are Fintan Taite, Brian Gallagher, Brian Fitzgerald, PJ Lynch, Des Fox, Adrienne Geoghegan, Olivia Golden, Steve Simpson, Una Gildea and Kevin McSherry. Life Drawing Exhibition 2007

The Thursday Life Drawing Group held their annual exhibition in The United Arts Club on Thursday 24th May 2007. The show was opened by Johnnie McCoy the clubs Arts Convenor and also by Ciaran Bennett, Art Critic and President of The International Association of Art Critics- Ireland (AICA).
There was work displayed by IGI members PJ Lynch, Joven Kerekes, Steve Doogan, Padhraig Nolan, Oisin Roche, Paul Stewart, Mierzey, and Brian Gallagher.
Kevin McSherry Dublin Exhibition

Ever wondered where those pithy illustrations in your newspapers come from? Artist and illustrator Kevin McSherry is holding an exhibition in the the Alliance Française in Kildare Street, Dublin. The show, held in the recently refurbished ground floor Café des Amis, runs until 11th June, 2007.
The exhibition shows examples of his editorial work published in leading journals and magazines, such as the Wall Street Journal, The Irish Times, Magill and Marketing Magazine.
Kevin McSherry in Paris Exhibition

Agents Associé, the organisation for French artists’ representatives will hold their first biennial group show in ‘Les Arts Decoratifs’ - a part of Le Louvre museum complex in central Paris. The show runs for one week from 29th March to the 4th April.
Three artworks by Kevin McSherry were selected by a panel of industry jurists for inclusion in the show, which is entitled: ‘Les Trésors Cachés de nos Artistes’.
Hard Work: An exhibition by Grainne Finn

Hard Work is a series of limited edition silkscreen and lambda prints by Dublin illustrator Grainne Finn.
