
IGI member Jonathan McHugh was recently asked to contribute a number of illustrations for inclusion in a hardback coffee table book to mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Schools in Ireland in 1608.
The five Royal Schools - in Donegal, Cavan, Armagh, Tyrone and Fermanagh - all worked together to produce the book to mark the occasion and to focus on their long histories.

This month sees the launch of a new book, Great Eagle Wood, by Cork writer and academic, Derry Cotter and illustrated by IGI member Kevin McSherry.

A billboard campaign featuring illustrations by IGI member Jonathan McHugh was recently awarded a bronze at the annual PANI Awards (Publicity Association of Northern Ireland) in Belfast.
The campaign was commissioned by Belfast based ad agency fire imc for Allied Bakeries and featured three different designs on the theme of fairytales to promote a new range of Kingsmill pancakes.

These stamps will be available throughout 2007.
