I’m an award-winning art director, graphic designer and wildlife artist/illustrator looking for suitable illustration and design commissions.
During the first 19 years of my career, as an art director and graphic designer, I’ve been involved in working on a large variety of projects for large and medium-sized organisations and ad agencies to which I contributed with my design and illustration skills. Back then, I was adapting my illustration style to the clients’ own style and guidelines.
In 2018, after the publication of my first (and award-winning) book in Ireland – ‘Dr Hibernica Finch’s Compelling Compendium of Irish Animals’ (Little Island, 2018) – I decided to dedicate more of my time to my life-long passion for animals and have been involved in various wildlife-related projects, such as designs and illustrations for biodiversity-related organisations. The style I’ve been working in for the last 5 years is realistic, and the medium of my choice is pen, pencil and watercolour. To date, I have three wildlife-related books published in Ireland.
My ideal project would be a children’s or adults’ book about wildlife or domesticated animals, or anything that would incorporate wildlife art – top-end restaurants or hotels decor, signage and marketing collateral for zoos, parks and wildlife reserves, product packaging.
