Graham Corcoran

Graham is an award winning illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland. Specializing in children’s book art, as well as pop-culture poster art which he has exhibited internationally at Hero Complex Gallery, Gallery Nucleus, Gallery 1988 and Bottleneck Gallery. With over 20 years experience, he has developed his signature style from a love of retro mid-century illustration combined with modern themes. He has worked for a diverse range of clients such as; HarperCollins, Gill Books, The O’Brien Press, Scholastic, The Irish Times, Weekend Magazine, UN Human Rights Council, Paper Culture, Little Island Books, Cara Magazine, Arnotts, Image Magazine and Tayto. He has illustrated several best-selling children’s books including; ‘The Book Of Irish Sporting Heroes’ (written by Adrian Russell), ‘The Great Irish Politics Book’ (written by David McCullagh), ‘The Story Of Croke Park’ (written by Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh), ‘The Story Of Irish Rugby’ (written by Gerard Siggins), ‘Ireland: The People, The Places, The Stories’ (written by Rachel Pierce),  ‘Dare To Dream’ and ‘Be Inspired’ (both written by Sarah Webb)

Awards and Nominations:
 ‘The Story Of Croke Park’ winner of a 2021 Literacy Association of Ireland’s Biennial Children’s Book Award.
‘The Story Of Croke Park’ was nominated for ‘Best Children’s Book (Senior)’ at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2020.
‘Dare to Dream’ was nominated for ‘Best Irish-Published Book’ at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2019.
