Roger Horgan

Roger has been working as a commercial illustrator for over 25 years.  Following his fine art training at CCAD in Cork he worked with Don Bluth studios where he worked on a number of animated films while building his skills in Sequential Storytelling at National Cartoon.  He started his commercial career in Dublin where he worked mainly on storyboard development directly with film companies and on illustrations for entertainment and educational publications.

He is now working in the Cork area following 20 years spent in London working on global brands with the leading studios and agencies.  The majority of his work has been on storyboarding and finished artworks and is complemented by experience as a visualiser in ideation sessions.  From his early grounding in traditional media he has moved to almost exclusive delivery via digital media, including 3D and vector art.  He is known for his exceptional breadth of styles, accurate interpretation of briefs, speed of delivery and flair for character design.

Clients he has worked with include Hiscox, Transport for London, Axa, Duracell, P&G, Nestle, BAT, Philips, Ladbrokes, Unilever, Kellogg’s, Diageo, Coca-Cola, BP, Sony and the list goes on.
