Una Gildea is an artist and illustrator, using watercolour, collage and animation. Her work has been widely exhibited and her animation films have been selected and screened at international film festivals.
Her commercial work reflects an ability to interpret and translate a pitch into a strong, clear, visual language. Her clients have included The Irish Times, CARA magazine, Irish Arts Centre New York, The Nualas.
Most recently her work was selected for Channel 4’s Grayson Perry’s Art Club exhibition now on in MAC Birmingham. Her work is in the collections of Dublin City University, the Contemporary Irish Art Society and numerous private collections.
Her recent solo exhibition ‘Once There Was a Girl…’ at GalleryX in Dublin was a sell out succcess!
